Hi friends, the name's Kona, and I am a beagle that is on a mission - to lose a few pounds! Okay, maybe a little more than a few.... I was found wandering the streets of Phoenix, and even after a week at the Humane Society, no one came forward to claim me. How sad I was! But then these nice people from AZBR came to my rescue and sprung me from the 'Big House' (aka the shelter, with its big and scary cages). I am now living in a foster home with two beagle brothers and working hard to trim my waistline. I'm happy to report I have already lost 5 pounds! They've also found I might have a minor thyroid issue, so taking a small pill once or twice a day will also help me lose weight. Come meet me today! I am a young gal that loves my people and would love to join your family.
