Riley's Story...
Riley is 3 1/2 years old. She weighs about 60lbs. She was surrendered to the shelter by her owner because she moved to a place that wouldnt allow Riley to stay. Riley is housetrained with the use of a doggie door. She is good with other dogs and loves kids. She really just loves all people. She is active and playful so needs to be included in family activities. Riley is a great, happy dog looking for a loving home. She is spayed, utd on vaccines, current on dewormings, HW negative, and on monthly Advantage Multi. Please consider adding her to your family.

This pet has a $40 adoption fee because he/she received a sponsor. Please inquire for adoption details and procedures.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Riley, a Lawrenceburg Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Collie for sale in Lawrenceburg, or seeking a Collie dog from a breeder in Lawrenceburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lawrenceburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lawrenceburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Collie breeders who help with Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lawrenceburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
