Cookie's Story...
Hi! My name is Cookie! I’m a 15 month old Cattle dog mix who recently was taken in by New Hope. My family had to surrender me because of a serious allergy problem and I simply could not stay with them. Aside from all that, I’m a very happy go lucky girl and absolutely love being with people. I look forward to playing with my toys, any age child, and all other dogs. I still have a puppy personality, lots of spunk, and like being in the middle of everything. I am house-trained, know how to use a doggy door, and love to go for walks around the neighborhood!

I have a cute line of hair that runs down my back and looks like a mohawk. Everyone thinks it’s the funniest thing but, it’s just part of my personality. I’m just looking for a loving family to be a part of.

Cookie's adoption fee is $225.

If you are interested in this dog, please go to www.NHCDArizona.com/adopt.html to fill out the adoption application. You may also contact adopt@nhcdarizona.com if you have any questions. Thank you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cookie, a Phoenix Australian Cattle Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog puppy from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
