My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Snow is an approximately 2 year old female Shepherd/Lab Mix that has been vaccinately, dewormed, spayed, and microchipped. She has the most beautiful soulful eyes and is looking for a family all her own that she can trust and give complete loyalty to. She is a little unsure when meeting new people at times, but warms up quickly when the people she meets are kind.

Snow would probably do best in a home with older children. She was nervous around the 1 year old child in the foster home and basically ignored the 4 year old. We would love to place her in a family where she would have adults only or children that can calmly teach her that they are just as fun as adults. She can be very bossy with other female dogs and young puppies. She was in heat and was spayed recently, so her hormones could be all out of whack at the moment. Once they settle down, she may mellow out. She lives with a 5 month old puppy in the foster home and at first she wanted to bully him, but now they are best friends.

She is working on housebreaking and house manners and learning that she cannot jump up on people. She is crate trained and sleeps calmly in her crate every night. Does this beauty seem like a good match? Let us know!
