Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sherman is a young male who found himself locked up in a shelter north of Houston. Not even 2 years old and already in trouble! This handsome boy is a standard 15 inches and weighs around 28 pounds. Sherman has a beautiful, shiny tri-colored coat.
Sherman is house trained in a home without a dog door. He really does not like going into the yard without human companionship, but is OK once he starts to play with his foster siblings. Sherman stays in a crate during the day when his family is at work. He may need a little push to get moving, but crates well. Sherman is great with other dogs. He loves playing all the beagle games, especially with his younger foster sister. Maybe because she has the best tasting ears for chewing during a good match of suma wrestling! Sherman has a hearty appetite but is not food aggressive.
Best of all Sherman is super sweet and loves to cuddle. If picked up and given permission to sleep on the big bed, he will with obvious delight, but is content to sleep all night on a dog bed near you. If you have a place in your heart and home for Sherman, please fill out an application today to come and meet him. It will be love at first sight!
