Moon Pie's Story...
Meet Moon Pie! She is a combination of "holy moly" cuteness and "wow unusual" adorable! Moon Pie is about 3 months old and was turned into a local high kill shelter with her mom and siblings because they "didn't need them" anymore. Well, we knew they were wanted so we pulled them and they are awesome! They are so sweet and snuggly and full of puppy playfulness. Moon Pie is in foster care in West TN and will be transported once her adoption is finalized.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Moon Pie, a Greenville Shih Tzu/Dachshund puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu/Dachshund for sale in Greenville, or seeking a Shih Tzu/Dachshund puppy from a breeder in Greenville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Greenville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Greenville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu/Dachshund breeders who help with Shih Tzu/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Greenville paves the way for another one to be saved.
