My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Duckie, a playful beagle girl looking for a new home. She was adopted from us several years ago but her owner moved into an assisted living center and Duckie ended up back at the animal shelter earlier this year.

We rescued her (again) and found her overweight and heartworm positive. Today she's 20 pounds lighter (now 44 pounds), and we treated her for heartworms and she's now heartworm negative. She's spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, on monthly heartworm and flea prevention.

She loves people of all ages, is great with cats and small dogs. She gets jealous of bigger dogs, though. She enjoys just hanging out with you and would be a great dog for someone wanting a companion dog.

Her adoption fee is only $75 which allows us to help other dogs in need.
