Mandy's Story...
I AM BEAUTIFUL MANDY!

I was a throwaway mom, and when I couldn't make anymore puppies, I was abandoned, tied to a pole, then brought to the city shelter. All I can say is, very scary place! It was there I caught the volunteers' eyes.

She told everyone how beautiful I was, inside and out. I am truly such a lovely, sweet, gentle, mellow and mature gal, that I will fit in just about anywhere. I am perfectly housetrained, of course. I am wonderful with other dogs, and really great on the leash during my walks.

My foster mom says I am also terrific in the home, not destructive at all, and I hardly ever, ever barks (sometimes in my sleep!) I absolutely adore car rides and sticking my head out the window. I love people and am fine with everyone, including strangers. And I'm okay with CATS!

I am about 5 yrs old and about 60 lbs., UTD on shots and spayed. My foster mom promised that since I am so exceptional she will only let me go to the most loving, caring home, where my family will be committed to never, ever giving me up.

If you are interested in meeting me, please contact reboundhounds@gmail.com and my rescue will get back to you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mandy, a New York Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in New York, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in New York.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New York already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New York breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New York paves the way for another one to be saved.
