Ariel's Story...
Hi There! My name is Ariel! I am a sweet and wonderful little female Cattle Dog mix. I was born around March first and I weight about 5 pounds. I had a rough start to life. I was found in the middle of the road in a small New Mexico town by animal control. I was taken to the shelter where they discovered I was deaf and blind! Not being a good candidate for adoption they were going to have to euthanize me, but they called a local rescue first to see if they could help me out. That rescue contacted A Soft Place to Land because they knew they helped out a lot of special needs dogs. And now here I am! I do not even notice that I am deaf and blind! I run and play with other dogs, I just run into stuff sometimes! I am a smart girl and will try to let you know when I need to go outside, but sometimes I have accidents. I will need a home willing to go beyond puppy proofing since I cannot see and could fall down stairs or window wells very easily. The rescue is taking application for me know, but I will not be ready to go home until June 1st. My adoption fee will be $275 and you can let the rescue you are interested in meeting me by filling out an application http://www.softplacetoland.org/dog-adoption-application/

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ariel, a Ft. Collins Cattle Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cattle Dog for sale in Ft. Collins, or seeking a Cattle Dog puppy from a breeder in Ft. Collins.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ft. Collins already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ft. Collins breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cattle Dog breeders who help with Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ft. Collins paves the way for another one to be saved.
