Name: Butch Age: 9 Dogs: No
Gender: Male Kids: Nice Ones Cats: Unknown
Butch was found at the Carson shelter and the timing was right for a senior to have the opportunity of a lifetime. To be rescued and to be able to wait for a permanent home outside the BRLA kennel. Butch is getting TLC at a beautiful property where he has gained strength and weight while getting lots of love and attention. He is a very easy going old dude, but the word old disappears when the leash comes out. Butch LOVES his daily walks and can go at quite a clip. Of course the after walk nap in his enclosure is all important to Butch. Butch is comfortable but he deserves a permanent home, a real couch he can call his own and he especially his very own person or people. There is nothing quite as wonderful as the look and love you get from a senior Boxer.

Butch is not at BRLA so please ask for him by name so a meeting can be set up outside of BRLA.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Butch, a Encino Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Encino, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Encino.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Encino already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Encino breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Encino paves the way for another one to be saved.
