Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hiko is a front-declawed neutered male young adult Ragdoll, with luxurious long chocolate-point colored fur, found abandoned outdoors and now living in a foster home. Although he is talkative and affectionate, he sometimes nips or bites without warning (like many declawed cats do). We hope the biting will decline if Hiko finds a patient and experienced adopter who is willing to work with him and gently redirect his behavior, but he probably should not be in a home with young children or people with fragile skin due to his biting tendency. He will need a slow introduction to the home, starting in a crate or small room, with supervised excursions to the rest of the house so he does not become anxious and revert back to his pre-neutered urine-spraying behavior (this sometimes happens when cats are not neutered until adulthood, as Hiko was.)
If you can give this deserving guy a safe indoor home, preferably within a 3-hour drive of the northwest Arkansas area, please contact us. He was very docile when we cleaned up his wounds and gave him a bath (we have video to prove it!) so he was probably a pampered indoor cat in the past, before he was abandoned outdoors. He is now neutered, vaccinated, FIV/FeLV negative, and microchipped.
