Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sam is a little doll who looks like a blend of a small Labrador Retriever, Border Collie, and some other small-breed dog.
He is a very cute little rascal with his one ear that stands up and the other ear that flops over – but only sometimes. It is like he can’t decide which way he looks cuter -- he is just adorable!
He weighs just under 20 pounds and since he is about 6 – 7 months old, he is unlikely to grow very much more at all. He is just a little fellow who is easy to pick up and take along with you wherever you go.
Sam is house trained and great with other dogs and with children. He is better with older children than little ones because the little ones tend to test his patience.
Sam is really, really smart – in fact, I didn’t have to worry about housebreaking him because he just seemed to know not to do his business inside! He learns very, very quickly...
Sam can also be very affectionate – he loves to sit with you and can mellow out and be a real couch potato.
Sammy loves to play fetch – in fact, he loves all his toys.
He also likes kitties – he wants to play with them and sometimes chases my kitties through the house, but only in fun. In fact, my cats tease him because they know he won’t hurt them.
• He loves to curl up on the couch and take a long nap
• He's very obedient...and responds well to direction
• house trained and knows a few commands like sit, stay, no, and off.
• will play fetch and tug of war.
• loves to ride in the car
• He loves a good walk/run but also loves to be inside.
Sammy never wanders off, but he does like to get out of the yard and sit in the front yard – but he always comes when he is called – he is a good little boy!
Of course, Sammy is neutered and up to date on all of his shots – he is a happy, healthy, young pup who is athletic and would make a great running, hiking , or ball playing buddy for any family!
