Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This little girl was originally listed on Craigslist as: "free to anyone who would take her." Fortunately, a caring DREAM volunteer spotted the ad and came to the rescue; removing Piper from an environment that couldn't be good for any beautiful, sweet and special girl. Luckily, she is heartworm negative, but she was infested with fleas and desparately needed dental work upon becoming a DREAM Dachsie! Her Foster Mom says she is quite the character. She loves to be outside, so she will need a forever home with a backyard where she can run and play! She is very obedient and doesn't bark much at all; but when she does bark, it is loud! Conversely, when she's outside and wants back in, she cries like a little puppy. She sleeps well in her little doggie bed right next to foster mom's at night.
Nicknamed "Peanut," she is very active and she's always ready for an adventure or a nice walk on her leash. She gets along very well with all her foster siblings and she likes to follow her foster mom everywhere around the house. Snuggling on the couch with mom and a couple other dachsies is getting a little crowed, but they don't mind! She is so very cute, she should easily find a forever family that will figure out quickly what a wonderful adoption option she will make!
