Chino and Princess's Story...
Introducing Chino and Princess!! We have been with our foster mom now for a short time & have already started liking the freedom she allows. Chino is learning to play with others, which he didn't do when he first got here & Princess thinks her job is to sit & look pretty, which she does very well. We are working with her on playing. We are both paper trained & like the doggie doors that our foster mom has, we think they are fun. We would like to stay together but would do okay if separated. We are good with other dogs too.Application is at www.pomposse.org. Serious inquires email pomposse@yahoo.com.You must live within a 2 hour drive of Hampton Roads area of VA and be able to to drive to get the dog and meet the foster parent. Adoption fee does apply.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chino and Princess, a Chesapeake Pomeranian dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pomeranian for sale in Chesapeake, or seeking a Pomeranian dog from a breeder in Chesapeake.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chesapeake already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chesapeake breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pomeranian breeders who help with Pomeranian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chesapeake paves the way for another one to be saved.
