Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is Sam, I am one and half years old and I did have a family that loved me very much. However due to the fact that I am believed to be an American and English Cocker Spaniel mix I can be pretty vocal at times, just my nature, and that caused a lot of problems for my family. They kindly released me to CAA Rescue where I am now in foster care waiting for my new home.
I am a friendly guy with dogs and cats… I just really need that special someone to believe in me and to love me the way that I am. I am a super smart boy and I only want to be with my family. I don’t like to be left alone for very long though. I am house broken but my leash manners could use some work… see I like to put my nose to the ground and get lost in all the wonderful smells there are to discover outside. I also get excited for bikes and skateboards so probably best if I am out of the city in my new home. If you could maybe invest some time training me how to be better behaved on the leash I know I would learn real fast. I make friends easy with people I meet so really I can go anywhere with you and I do like traveling in the car as well. I would prefer a home with children 10 years and older
I would really like to have some consistency in my life from here on end, I didn’t much like leaving my family to go into foster care… don’t get me wrong my foster family is awesome and take wonderful care of me, I know they love me and want the best for me but I know this is not my forever home and waiting for my new family – my true family is really hard. I hope someone who is a home body or works from home will read this. Someone who lives in a house and not apartment because I do bark, like all dogs do, and that seems to bother people. Maybe my new home will have a kitty friend for me because I really like hanging out with them. I hope my new home has a nice backyard where we can play ball together because I do like that a lot.
