Rocky GREAT with other DOGS!'s Story...
Woof - my name is Rocky. I am a 4 year old PUREBRED White Boxer. I am Neutered and Housetrained and SOOOOOO SWEET! I was rescued from the North Central LA City shelter where I was surrendered by my owner because they had too many dogs. I was a volunteer favorite in the shelter. I LOVE to give kisses and I LOVE attention! I am a happy go-lucky guy! I now live in a foster home with 2 other dogs. I love other dogs and would LOVE another big dog companion in my furever home. I sleep in a crate and am crate trained. I LOVE TO PLAY! And I LOVE ATTENTION! I climb into your lap for hugs. I LISTEN WELL and I know SIT, STAY, LAY DOWN and SHAKE!! I walk well on a leash too! I am a very sweet dog who is looking for my furever home. I am Neutered, Microchipped and updated on all of my shots. I am full grown and weigh 47 lbs.
If you would like to meet me, please go to www.labsandfriends.org and fill out our short adoption application, or you can email carolee@labsandfriends.org for an adoption application. Woof - thanks for being interested in me, Rocky - woof!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rocky GREAT with other DOGS!, a Burbank Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Burbank, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Burbank.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Burbank already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Burbank breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Burbank paves the way for another one to be saved.
