Duke's Story...
Duke is a fantastic 3 year old male tan and white pittie mix. Before we rescued him he had been stuck in the shelter for 4 months! He is super sweet, affectionate, and playful. As a happy and fun-loving young guy, we know Duke would be the perfect companion who will always cheer you up and give you something to smile about when you're feeling down. That giant smile and his love of life is simply irresistible! Being the spry boy that he is, Duke has a lot of energy and would be best-suited for someone who can give him lots of exercise. He'd love to explore the great outdoors with you, whether it's long neighborhood walks, canyon hiking trails, etc. We know this Duke wouldn't complain one bit! He is also well-mannered, walks well on a leash, takes treats gently and is good with other dogs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Duke, a Los Angeles American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
