Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Otter is an adorable nine week old mixed breed puppy. She weighs about 8 pounds and is pure FUN! From the looks of the soft unusual colored coat Otter was taken well care of before being turned into a high kill shelter. Otter is playful, happy and just loves being snuggled! It is so much fun to watch Otter play with the other puppies then fizzle out for a nap. Otter is in a foster home and getting lessons on potty training and she is a quick learner.
If you are interested in giving Otter wonderful home, go to our Facebook page and download the application from the "Notes" section. While you are there, please "Like" our page to see our new available dogs and keep up with upcoming events.

You can also email us at merceranimalrescue@gmail.com and we will email an application to you. Feel free to call Beverly (901-651-6322) or Angela (901-361-0089) anytime with questions.
Otter's adoption donation is $495 which helps to cover the spaying, shots, bordetella (kennel cough), heartguard, frontline, vet examination, certificate of health and transport fee.
Otter is living with a foster family in Tennessee. She will travel to her new family by professional pet transport once she has been adopted. There is a weekly transport to the northeast and a bi-monthly transport to the Chicago, Milwaukee and Minneapolis areas.
Our primary source of funding comes from this adoption donation. This donation allows us to rescue other dogs in danger of being put to sleep, injured or sick dogs and dogs that have never known the comfort of a home.
