Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I am a 1 1/2 year old neutered male Australian Shepherd mix. I weigh about 24 pounds. If you're looking for a happy, playful, energetic, loving pup, then I am definitely your guy! I also happen to be super, duper adorable. I have a very friendly face and a very unique tail. It's not quite short, but not quite long. My friends here aren't sure what happened. Perhaps I was born like that or maybe it's due to an old injury, but either way, it NEVER stops wagging! I get along great with other dogs and I just love all my human companions. I get so excited to see them that I can't stop giving kisses. So, I hope you're into that kind of stuff. You want to know how I got here? I was left on the doorsteps of a local high-kill shelter. Supposedly, I was a stray. I didn't have a microchip and I wasn't neutered. I was also pretty skinny when I showed up there. It's possible I had been on the streets for awhile. I spent about three weeks at the shelter. It was a little scary and I started to lose hope that I would ever find a home. Then, one day, I got the news that I was leaving to go stay at a place called CageFree. I was so excited. Rumor had it that there were other dogs there and that I would be able to run around and play with all of them while I waited for my forever home. Trust me, I was not disappointed when I got here. I've already made so many doggy friends in the short time that I have been here. So, that's my story. What's yours? I'm looking for an active family that will take me to the dog park, on hikes in the hills, play fetch with me in the yard, or play tug-o-war with me. Does that sound like fun to you?
