Here's what the humans have to say about me:
kuno has got to be the happiest dog alive ! When we rescued him from a high kill shelter he had been turned in by his owner along with 4 buddies. We took his friend Bebe and another rescue took the other 3 pups, but no one wanted Kuno as he had juvenile cataracts and would be hard to adopt and he he was very scared in the shelter. He had to be scared, he could not see and had no idea where he was. So we decided to take him as well so he did not get euthanized.. after a visit to the groomer where he was shaved down as he was so matted, we then went to the eye vet who said that he was a good candidate for cataract surgery. Three weeks later we had surgery on both eyes and now after a couple of months of healing this little dog can see as well as his friends and he has a whole new personality. He is active and very playful, loves to run and play with all of the other dogs, bounces up and down with joy he is so happy, he has turned out to be a truly wonderful little boy. He is pretty well house and leash trained, but not perfect and he loves his big doggie bed to sleep in and is just a joy to have around. He is a approx 4 yrs old and 12 lbs and looks like a havanese/maltese mix.
