Sunny's Story...
Sunny is a ball of sunshine and fun! He has the softest coat and loves to be fawned over by anyone willing to snuggle and play with him. Sunny is a goofy boy that loves to play hide and seek with his brother Trout on the stairs or in the kids toys. He is very outgoing and friendly and will also play with our dogs. He's just as happy snuggling in your lap though! He would fit into any home but he does love his brother Trout to pieces and they have such fun times together! Could Sunny be the one who lights up your house?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sunny, a Ortonville American Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in Ortonville, or seeking a American Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Ortonville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ortonville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ortonville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ortonville paves the way for another one to be saved.
