Adam's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, not good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Adam's Story...
Adam was found and rescued by a farmer in Ralls, TX. He was skinny and had several wounds. His "before" picture is included here. He had been shot in the elbow and had an unfortunate encounter with a porcupine. He is now healthy, strong, and full of energy. Adam gets along with other dogs. He isn't really into cats though! He also isn't crazy about young children. They make him nervous/anxious. He would do best with older children who can read body language and are able to understand boundaries. Adam lives in a foster home and is popular in his apartment complex! He is looking for a permanent home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Adam, a Lubbock Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Lubbock, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Lubbock.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lubbock already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lubbock breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lubbock paves the way for another one to be saved.
