Lexie's Story...
Lexie
Female
Brittany Spaniel Mix
DOB: 3/5/10
Weight: 26 Pounds

Lexie has a big heart and although weighing in at twenty-six pounds, she shares her run with a little six pound Shih-Tzu named Apollo. Lexie is a gentle, loving dog that is eager to please. Her good-natured personality makes her a great family dog and companion.

Lexie seems a little shy at first in new situations, but she is intelligent and will settle easily into new surroundings. She enjoys walks and likes everyone and is very friendly with strangers. Lexie is housetrained with a doggie door and gets along well with other dogs.

Lexie would be very happy to be with an active family who want to make her a part of their home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lexie, a Mountain Center Brittany dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Brittany for sale in Mountain Center, or seeking a Brittany dog from a breeder in Mountain Center.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mountain Center already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mountain Center breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Brittany breeders who help with Brittany rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mountain Center paves the way for another one to be saved.
