HI!!

I’m Hans. I was my momma’s spoiled little man, but unfortunately she was quite old and one day she wasn’t around anymore. Her human kids sought out the care of Schnauzer Rescue Cincinnati to ensure that I would continue my life of pampering.

I am a very handsome silver and white 2 year old male. I still act like a puppy. I’m a big boy, tipping the scales at 25lbs. I have super soft cottony fur that needs brushed often to keep from matting.

I do not potty in the house and I don’t have the urge to mark. I want to play and play and play. I love men and woman and older children. Young, fast-moving kids frighten me. I would really like another playful dog in my new home, but will settle for a person who is active enough to keep me busy.

I will snuggle my chin on your knee so you can pet me while you’re sitting. I don’t get on the sofa or the bed. I am content to sleep on my doggie bed. I grumble and vocalize when I’m happy and want to play, but I’m not a yappy boy. I am quiet and calm in a car.

I know how to “sit” and fetch my “toy”, but other than that, I could really use some obedience training. I think it would be a fun way for me to learn some manners and bond with you.

Until I have solidly learned to come when called, I’ll need to be in a securely fenced yard or on a leash. Although everyone has been very nice to me, I’m still a bit confused and want my permanent person to love happily ever after.
