Horatio's Story...
Check out this handsome guy. He was rescued from a swimming pool in a residential neighborhood. He had been trying to claw his way out for most of the night and thankfully the owner in the home finally heard his cries and saved him. He is very shy when he first meets you but he's super loving and gets along great with other dogs. Horatio was heartworm positive but he has been completely treated and is now ready for his new home! He's estimated to be about 1 1/2 years old and ready to go. His adoption fee is reduced to 300$ to help him find his forever home quicker! Please apply!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Horatio, a Rochester Redbone Coonhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Redbone Coonhound for sale in Rochester, or seeking a Redbone Coonhound dog from a breeder in Rochester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rochester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rochester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Redbone Coonhound breeders who help with Redbone Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rochester paves the way for another one to be saved.
