Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sophie is about 4 mos. She has been with us since she was around 6 weeks old. She had a rough start since the beginning. She came from a not so nice home. Luckily she was not there long.
When she came to us her back leg was swollen. The vet took a look and thought trauma. Time will heal. She also had an inguinal hernia. So we kept her longer. Got her complicated spay done. Swelling was still in her back leg.
We ended up doing surgery on her leg too. We had tumors removed and sent to a lab to test. Yep! Sophie had cancer. We were devastated. But the key word here is HAD CANCER... She went to the vet on 5/14 and was given the best news ever...Sophie is cancer FREE!
The vet typically does not see dogs this age with cancer. She is our little survivor. We are so proud of our girl and we are happy to hand her, her life back! Some said to give up on her, not worth the money put in. Well it was money, she is a life!!! And if someday If I am in the situation- I would want someone to help me.She is worth every penny plus some. Rescues are used to having no money.
Sophie is special. She is active, and smart. She wants a home that will love and give her a soft bed to snuggle into at night, a lap to lay in and plenty of love to share with her. She is an amazing girl.
