Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Here’s Cookie is a wonderful 6 year old Shepherd / Brittany Spaniel mix. She was rescued out of high kill Gordon County Shelter in North Georgia. Cookie’s foster mom was picking up another and just couldn’t say no to this adorable girl with the prettiest eyes and the best demeanor! She is in excellent health, spayed, vaccinated and weighs 50 lbs. Cookie has been in foster care in Georgia with a house full of kids ages 3 and up and several other dogs of all ages and sizes. Cookie is well acquainted with a busy family household and will fit right in with however busy (or not!) your home is. She loves kids, is gentle and loving and calm. She enjoys chasing squirrels (what dog doesn’t!) and cats if they run away from her outside (duh!), but is very accepting of her foster mom’s kitties inside their home. She will get bored if left alone outside for too long by herself, but we don’t recommend leaving her outside anyway when you are not there. Cookie will love games, trips to the lake or beach and she’s a fetcher too! Cookie is excellent on the leash and loves her daily walks or runs. She loves attention, enjoys her bathes and brushes and is sooo affectionate and cuddly. Cookie will totally enjoy her family outings wherever you take her and she is good in the car too. Cookie is crate trained and totally house trained, but can be trusted in the car and the house without her crate too. She is really just the best dog! Mellow and full and energetic, Cookie really goes with the flow and is not demanding of anything! This beautiful girl deserves a fun loving family to give her quality “Cookie” time! She will love your dog park, camping or other adventures as long as you take her with you! Cookie is getting out of Georgia right away and arriving in Washington on May 24th. You should be the lucky family to be waiting o the other side for her- definitely! To fill out an online application for Cookie, go to www.raincityrescue.com or for questions email Pam at raincityrescue@gmail.com. Cookie’s adoption fee is $400. She is truly the best girl EVER!!
