My story

Hi there, my name is Lexi Mae and I am a 3 year old female golden mix. My family had to give me up because I wasn't adjusting well to the new baby in the house. I was used to getting all the attention and then this little human came along and I didn't adjust that well...can you blame me? I am a super sweet, fun loving girl. I get along great with dogs and I love my dog bed. I am a little anxious right now, I think it's from the stress of my trip back to Knoxville and being in a different environment. I guess I just don't adjust very well to new and different situations. Foster mom tells me that's ok though because I am such a loving and sweet dog and that makes up for it! I would love a home with another dog and a family member who is home most of the time. I just miss my humans so much when they are gone! I would love to meet my forever family soon, so if I look like I might be the dog for you, ask for me - Lexi Mae!
