Brandy !!$300 Adoption Fee!!'s Story...
Miss Brandy is a beautiful girl that was snatched out of the kill shelter on the day she was to be euthanized. This sweet girl didn't know how to walk on a leash and she was very shy and scared there. She's come out of her shell and is going to make a wonderful family a great pet. Brandy is a medium to large size (a lot of fur!) and she is now better about walking on a leash. Her foster mom would love to tell you all about her! She is completely vetted and ready for her new home now!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brandy !!$300 Adoption Fee!!, a Harrisonburg Collie/Chow Chow dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Collie/Chow Chow for sale in Harrisonburg, or seeking a Collie/Chow Chow dog from a breeder in Harrisonburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Harrisonburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Harrisonburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Collie/Chow Chow breeders who help with Collie/Chow Chow rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Harrisonburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
