Nancy's Story...
Hi, my name is Nancy. I am a black, medium to long haired, 1-2 year old, spayed female. I was rescued when I was pregnant by a very nice man whose landlord would not allow him to keep me. CatNIP took me in and helped me raise my babies. They are all adopted and now it's my turn. I am a very sweet girl. I love to be petted and loved. I like to play with toy mice and the laser light. I am sharing a foster home with lots of other cats, but I would prefer to be an only pet or maybe with one other. Please contact CatNIP to find out when and where you can meet me.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nancy, a Springfield Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Springfield, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Springfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Springfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Springfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Springfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
