My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gracie is an adorable, sweet, very smart, submissive Australian Cattle Dog or Red Heeler. She is 4 years old, weighs about 30 pounds and appears to be housebroken. She walks well on a leash and does well on car rides. Gracie also gets along well with other dogs. She is a little shy at first with adults, appearing to have perhaps had some harsh treatment at some point in her past, but she appears to be quite fond of children. She does love to be petted and will be your constant companion once she knows that you are her friend. She has been spayed, is heartworm negative and is up to date on vaccinations including bordatella for kennel cough. If you want a devoted companion she is the girl for you. The first step in adopting Gracie is to fill out our on line adoption application at here.

If you have trouble loading the on line application link please email for a copy and paste application. The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers.

Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not meet he/she will be adopted to that home.
