Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Jimmy is a 3 y/o male who was found injured and malnourished in NW Houston. The finders called HBHR to provide care for this boy. Jimmy’s leg injury was an old one with obvious muscle wasting from lack of use. Today with crate rest and meds, you can’t even tell which leg was injured. Good diet and a healthy beagle appetite turned this skinny 23 pound boy into a handsome 28 pounder!
Jimmy was housebroken and seemed to know all about dog doors. Jimmy is a very laid back boy. He does like his space, but has learned to share his human with the rest of the pack. He enjoys a good game of chase the fastest pup in the pack and is always the leader when a rabbit has been in the yard. His favorite activity is to patrol the yard for critters to keep his home safe from invasion! He has a funny high pitched bay that everyone knows means that Jimmy has found a scent trail!
Jimmy craves human companionship and a person’s touch. He will cuddle if invited, but patiently waits for you to notice him standing there waiting for a pet. Though he would love to sleep on the beg bed with you, he sleeps through the night on a dog bed ready to greet you as soon as you stir in the morning! He will be a loving companion to any family and will do well with or without a canine companion
