My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Zoey! Zoey arrived at the shelter along with her older sister, Maggie, and since they weigh over 76 pounds each, they quickly caught the attention of shelter staff. And in no time at all, their sweet, gentle dispositions made them staff favorites.
Unfortunately, shelter life is particularly hard on large, housetrained dogs, so these big beauties were transferred to a FOTA foster home, where they are now living.
Zoey is probably 4 to 5 years old, so she's a dog who has experienced a lot in life. Most likely she has felt love, and she knows how to give it back. Zoey's probably had her share of disappointment and heartbreak, too, because after all, she DID end up at the shelter! However, Maggie and Zoey are both easy-going and trusting, so we think all that life experience has just made them well rounded, and more appreciative of what people have to offer!

Zoey is gorgeous and loveable, and you couldn't find a dog more deserving of a second chance at happiness, so why not take a chance on Zoey, today? Better yet, why not adopt both Maggie and Zoey, so that they can continue to enjoy their special relationship, for years to come? We'll even make it easy by making both girls available for the price of one!

If you have room in your heart and your home for one or both of these WONDERFUL Labs, please email their foster mom at jennifer_bernhard@hotmail.com or text (225) 288-5271.

All dogs adopted through Friends of the Animals are current on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed or neutered prior to adoption. For more information about FOTA or to make a donation, please visit http://www.friendsoftheanimalsbr.org/.
