Bella is a black Aussie kelpie or chow chow mix who is as laid back as they come. She is 5 years old, spayed and no doubt somewhat trained. Good on a leash, and with other dogs and people. She needs some exercise as she is a bit on the heavy side. She is staying in a pen with another dog so that shows she must be very easy to get along with ; especially since they both must eat together..She also might be great with cats, it's just something they don't know because they are kept in cages and separated from cats. We find that many we take and foster are already housebroken, and good with other animals or learn quickly to be. The shelter is at 650 John Howell Memorial Drive ,(off Wilma Sigmon Rd) in Lincolnton. It is newly remodeled too. Hours of operation for adopting are 11 to 4:30 , Mon-sat. Ph: 704 736 4125. you can adopt the same day and the dog then goes to the vet to be spayed or neutered and you pick up at the vets. For only 85.00 you get the spay or neuter, rabies vaccines, disease preventative vaccination a worming, a microchip and even 30 days of free pet health insurance.
