Lion's Story...
Lion came up with his littermate Tiger from a shelter in rural Alabama. We can't sincerely give a breed guess, but both are chunky puppies, so on the Lab-like side, and Lion has a lovely, rich golden color. He is a VERY sweet boy who loves to be on your lap and his energy is moderate. He is demanding of attention and would be fantastic around kids; he currently is being fostered with a four year old girl. A robust puppy with expressive eyes, he is very easy to get along with and would be fine for novice dog owners. Uncomplicated and darling :)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lion, a West Warwick Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in West Warwick, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in West Warwick.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in West Warwick already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a West Warwick breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in West Warwick paves the way for another one to be saved.
