My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Gretel, the other half of the Manchester Terrier twins. Don’t let this petite girl fool you, she is a lively and spirited pup who needs to walk, run, and play. She and Hansel were given up by a breeder because of luxating patella but she too is not showing any symptoms. Keeping Gretel at her optimal weight and regular exercise to build muscle will go a long way in decreasing the stress on her knees. Manchester Terriers were originally bred to rid homes and ships of rats and have retained some of their hunting instinct. Gretel loves to chase anything that catches her eye; for this reason, a fenced yard is recommended to keep her safe. She will soon be ready for puppy classes followed by basic obedience training. Her family must be prepared to meet her exercise needs; Terriers are not for couch potatoes. Of course, Hydra needs a home where she is not alone more than a few hours (total) during the day. Gretel will wrap herself around your heart, charm you, entertain you, and greet each day with Terrier enthusiasm. If you know Terriers and would like to make a difference in this pup’s life, please fill in the Adoption Form.
