Miss Cleo's Story...
Nothin' could be finer than to be with Miss Cleo from sun up to sundown. Lovely, refreshing, eager to please, playful with the classic lines of the shepherd and husky and light brown eyes that convey self confidence and trust. She's about a year old (5/24/14) and quite beautiful. She could use a cup of kindness as well as some cups of healthy chow. Miss Cleo exhibits an adaptability to training and responding, making her ideal for obedience, relay, tricks, dance, agility and therapy services. We highly recommend her! There are no vet exams at the city / muncipal shelter so while we do not know the details of her health status she certainly appears healthy. Transportation for Miss Cleo to make the journey from Jackson, MS to New England can be easily arranged.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Miss Cleo, a Groton Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Husky for sale in Groton, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Husky dog from a breeder in Groton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Groton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Groton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Husky breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Groton paves the way for another one to be saved.
