My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Iollan (pronounced ul-lan") is a 6 month old Border Collie/English Shepherd mix. He came into rescue very shy and under-socialized. He is still pretty shy, but not as scared as he was when he first arrived and now cautiously lets his foster mom pet him. Because he is so young we believe Iollan will easily bounce back in a home that is prepared to work with him a little bit on socialization and just teaching him that the world is an okay place! Iollan gets along well with his sister, Ailsa, but can be a bit of a bully to her. We have not had him tested with other dogs, cats, or children yet. Because he is fearful around strangers, we suspect he would not be comfortable around young, hyperactive children. Iollan is going to be a pretty big boy, already much bigger than his little sister! Despite being mostly white, we do not believe Iollan has any hearing or vision problems. We hope to know more about Iollan's personality as he comes out of his shell!

Iollan has not been neutered yet and will be adopted with a prepaid neuter from his adopter's veterinarian.
