Dottie's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Dottie's Story...
Dottie is just about 4 years old and a sweet girl, that just loves everyone. She was a great mom to her puppies, who were born in September of 2013, and is looking for a home of her own now. Dottie is spayed, vaccinated, micro-chipped, house and crate-trained, heartworm NEGATIVE, on heartworm preventative, and loves riding in the car. She would be best in a home without any other pets unless there is a slow introduction between them.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dottie, a Irving American Staffordshire Terrier/Mastiff dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier/Mastiff for sale in Irving, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier/Mastiff dog from a breeder in Irving.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Irving already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Irving breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier/Mastiff breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier/Mastiff rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Irving paves the way for another one to be saved.
