Rita's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Rita's Story...
Rita came in with her brother Rhett when the family who had them could not care for them. They both came in emaciated and unsocialized, but Rita has fully come out of her shell and now acts like a typical young lab. She is very affectionate and will lay in your lap when you go in her kennel, but she is also very anxious to play every chance she gets. She is working on her leash training and has made great improvements, as we would expect such a smart girl to do. She loves people and other dogs and will make a great companion or family dog. Rita will require a fenced in yard. Won't you please consider giving Rita her first real home?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rita, a Russellville Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Russellville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Russellville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Russellville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Russellville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Russellville paves the way for another one to be saved.
