My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DOB April 10, 2013

Meet Jane Eyre who came to TCR via a hoarding situation. Like the character in the novel, since leaving her former home, life has been intimidating but she is finally starting to come around to figuring out what is this “living with humans” that has been missing all her short life. She has taken immediately to her older foster brother (by the name of Jackson, also available for adoption), picking up cues from him. Watching her interaction with him is sure to make you smile. She is very vocal, loves to play with toys, especially the crinkly tunnel. She loves to burrow herself under a blanket to hide from the world when it becomes too much. She sleeps with her foster mom and the gang, close by but always ready to move at a moment’s notice. Her self confidence is growing and while she is still very shy and skittish, it’s only a matter of time for her to learn to trust humans. It’s really not easy when you haven’t had much exposure to human contact while growing up.

Jane has the cutest little white slippers, but her eyes and markings on her face are what give her striking looks. She eats well, dry and wet and is learning to stand her grounds to her older sister, who is from the same hoarding situation. Her ideal furever family would be someone who will be patient while she adjusts at her own time. A busy household or with young kids wouldn’t probably be a good match but she would really appreciate having another furry companion. And in time, she will learn to love and cherish her new family. She will make a great cat.
