Tripod is a 2 year old, three legged, mixed breed boy. He was surrendered by his previous owners along with two other canines, because they were unable to care for them. Tripod does like to play with the occasional toys, but spending time with his canine and human friends is by far his favorite pastime.

  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ft. Pierce breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ft. Pierce paves the way for another one to be saved.
