Riley's Story...
Riley: 3 yr old black & rust male, neutered, docked tail and uncropped ears. 11", 11 lb. Fully vetted. Owner give-up. "My name is Riley. I am about 3 years old. I am a total love bug. I love to snuggle and be under blankets. I get along well with other dogs, kids, and cats. When I am snuggling I make lots of happy noises. If I am under the blanket, and you rub my head and body to play I roll all around and make even more noises. I am house broken and will go into a crate. I don't really like the crate, but if you throw in a treat, I will run in after it. I walk really well on a leash and like to run around in a fenced in yard. When I am begging or playing I can stand on my back legs and walk around, it's my great trick. I am looking for a great home where I can gets lots of hugs and cuddles. I hope that home can be with you. If you think it is send my foster mom an email atpandapaws10@hotmail.com and she can tell you how amazing I am. Sincerely, Right on Riley." Note: we will not fly this boy. IMPS Tag: 29147 ADD DATE: 01/10/14If you wish to adopt, please fill out our IMs xxxPS Min Pin Adoption Application If you have previously submitted an Application form, there is no need to re-apply. For more details, contact Shannon: pandapaws10@hotmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Riley, a Columbus Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher for sale in Columbus, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in Columbus.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbus already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbus breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbus paves the way for another one to be saved.
