My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Poppa is a sweet 8 year old 9 pound mix of Chi/Rat Terrier and Hound (our best guess). Poppa is the father of Peanut who is also shown on this site. Poppa and Peanut landed in a shelter after their owner went to a nursing home. Poppa and Peanut are the sweetest most loving little dogs. Gentle, quiet, affectionate, loyal and friendly with all. They get along great with the other foster dogs. Poppa and Peanut are ok with being split up. They enjoy each other's company but aren't highly dependent upon each other.
