Hi, my name is LUCEE and I am FOSTERED IN TN and I am a really nice girl. My foster Mom has fallen in love with me too and sings my praises. I am a female Catahoula mix looking for my forever home. I was rescued just in time from a shelter. My dad passed away unexpectedly and I sat with him a day or so until they discovered he had passed. I was picked up by animal control and taken to the shelter. I had just lost my best friend and now put in a place with strange people and other dogs. I was so scared and confused because since a puppy all I knew was my dad,, the shelter was going to euthanize me because I in fear I growled at them, but thanks to my new foster mom and the Catahoula rescuer, I have been saved and now looking for someone to love me as much as I will love them. I am spayed, microchipped and UTD on all my shots. I am heartworm negative and currently on flea prevention and heart guard. I know basic commands like sit, stay, shake, down, and an occasional word. I am a really good girl but don't care for small dogs or cats very much and I like friendly run easy larger dog companions, and a nice male friend that is not confrontational would be great. My Dad did take me for walks and I was very friendly with all my neighbors.
I will be 5 years old this coming September so I am still a young healthy girl. I still think of my dad but am happy and full of life and I enjoy being near my human friends all the time. I will love you forever and make a great companion if you give me a chance. Thank you and hope to meet you soon.
