Howie's Story...
Howie is an absolutely delightful 5 year old husky who’s very affectionate and loves being with people. He also enjoys the company of dogs and would like to have a playful female as a companion, but he could potentially do well as an only dog with someone who is home all day and has lots of time to spend with him. He’s house-trained, well-mannered indoors, and has medium-high energy and activity levels. Howie may need to have a recurring growth removed from his leg in the future but is in very good health overall. Please call Kirt at 505-967-6949 for more information about this wonderful boy!

The adoption fee for Howie is $150.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Howie, a Cedar Crest Siberian Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siberian Husky for sale in Cedar Crest, or seeking a Siberian Husky dog from a breeder in Cedar Crest.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cedar Crest already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cedar Crest breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siberian Husky breeders who help with Siberian Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cedar Crest paves the way for another one to be saved.
