Cocoa's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, and up to date with shots.

Cocoa's Story...
My name is Cocoa. I am a brindle colored Bulldog mix. I weigh about 56 pounds and am around 4 years old. I am up to date on my shots, I've been spayed and am a very healthy girl. I love people and nice walks. I know basic commands, love to chase tennis balls, and I ride well in the car. I like my animal rescue friends, but really want to go home with a family I can play with.
We prefer a home with children over the age of 5 who will be able to assist in the care of Cocoa. All of our dogs are placed as indoor family pets. No electric fences, please.

Please visit our website to learn more about our rescue at www.bigcanoeanimalrescue.org and click on WANT TO ADOPT?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cocoa, a Big Canoe American Bulldog/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Bulldog/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Big Canoe, or seeking a American Bulldog/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Big Canoe.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Big Canoe already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Big Canoe breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Bulldog/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with American Bulldog/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Big Canoe paves the way for another one to be saved.
