My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bitsy: 1½ to 2 yr old, black & rust spayed female, natural ears, docked tail, 9" 8.5 lbs, vaccines up to date, micro-chipped, rescued from shelter
"Hi, I'm Bitsy, and I'm a real snuggle bunny! My favorite things to do are follow my foster mom to see what she's doing, laying with my foster mom, and playing in the back yard with my foster dogs! I'm very good with the kitty too!
I found out I like fruit and vegetables with my food... who'd of thought! Sometimes it's hard for me to wait until my food is ready, I just get so excited! My foster mom says I squeak instead of bark at mealtime. She also says I'm a good eater; but I knew that already.
I am pee pad trained, and I could probably learn to use a dog door, cause I learned to go in and out the screen with my foster dog family very quickly. I'm learning to come in with the others too, but sometimes I get a little nervous. My foster mom thinks I got shut in a door once a long time ago. .... she might be right, but I can't remember.
My foster mom says I walk very nicely on the leash. I know she's right about that cause I love to go on walks! I like riding in the car too, but my foster mom days I do better in a harness clipped to the seat belt. It's not so bad I guess.
I am a happy little dog, and I know I would love to be an only dog! I really would like that, but it would be cool with a cat that would like me, and maybe another little dog like me. I can sleep in a crate if I have to, but I'd rather sleep in bed with someone. My foster mom says I must have been someone's cuddle pal, cause I really knew about sleeping under the covers! I think she was right! I'm learning lots of things now, like back, which I've learned means get away from the door, and off, which is not my favorite word. I'm learning wait, but that and sit are kinda hard. Mom says I'll learn them, I just need to have patience. Everything is so exciting, sometimes I just can't be patient! Mom says it's all good though cause I'm a sweet pea!"
Note: Bitsy is located in Roseville, CA - and we will not fly this girl.
