My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If you're interested in a smart, sensible, confident large dog, you should meet Lady. She's friendly with children at her foster home and is equally comfortable with men and women. She gets along well with other dogs, but isn't needy for dog companionship. She would be fine as an only dog or part of a multiple dog household. Lady weighs 76 pounds. Two years old, she's got the smarts, perseverance, and mental stability to be successfully trained as a therapy or special needs dog. She has energy, but successfully directs that energy with human leadership. Lady's vet exam was normal. She has shown no health problems. She's been spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, and takes heartworm prevention. Friendly and a little independent, Lady entered our rescue program very pregnant with her first litter. All the pups have been adopted. Lady shows good problem solving skills. She is crate trained and walks on a leash. Email petsavernc@bellsouth.net for an application for Lady.
