Bradie's Story...
Hello hello, my name is Bradie. I am fun loving, rambunctious guy who loves a good play session. I came to the shelter with my kitty companion Bella Boo when our previous owners could no longer keep us. We would love to go to a home together. I like sunny windows to perch in and scratching posts to stretch way out on. I can be a talkative cat, and enjoy exploring my surroundings. Treats are a nice thing but the biggest treat for me is just getting to have some loyal and loving humans by my side. I really am as friendly as I am cute so hurry in and let's get started on the rest of our lives!
Before making the trip to visit the shelter we strongly recommend checking our website for information on adoption policies and procedures. Please understand that because we are a busy place and because so many animals need our care and attention, adoptions are on a first come basis and no animal will be put on hold, we appreciate your understanding and look forward to your visit! To inquire about a pet's availability or for more information please PHONE the shelter (978-283-6055 ex 10 for reception desk) instead of sending emails.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bradie, a Gloucester Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Gloucester, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Gloucester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gloucester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gloucester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gloucester paves the way for another one to be saved.
